Hello my Lovelies!! Well today I want to introduce a cosmetic company which I have come across many youtube vids and blogs. A month back 99Labels was selling this brand at a discounted price and I jumped at the opportunity – more so coz I would not be able to lay my hands on this brand domestically. The products were pricey (hey a brand that is new for you in all respect will definitely coz some hesitation when you are asked to dish out 2.5k plus for each product :p) I chose 2 products from all the skin care ones that were on offer – Vitamin C Complex (30 ml, MRP Rs 2800/- approx, On Sale – Rs 1394/-) and Energizing Mask (100g, MRP Rs 2600/- approx, On Sale – Rs 1102/-).

Vitamin C Complex:

     Ok right off the bat somehow I did not like the packing of this. For a product that would set you back like 2.8k I think it could have been better. But anyways the pump is good and quite easy to control the amount of product that you dispense at one time thereby reducing product wastage somewhat. Ok a bit of a warning – this is an active ingredient product. I don’t per say have a sensitive skin but if my body heats up for some reason then I have a tendency to break into a rash. When I first applied this it gave me a slight tingling sensation at first on my cheeks and chin and then a mild burning sensation. I didn’t put too much attention to this. After an hour or so of application I got a mild rash on my chin and cheeks. So if you are sensitive I would advise you to conduct a patch test first before going gung-ho with this. I’m not ready to write this off yet and will try it again and in different conditions before giving you guys a final review of this product. So wait for that.

Energizing Mask:

Sticky consistency of the mask

     I liked the packaging of this much better than the first one and the gel smells nice. Crushed cranberries is listed as one of the ingredients for this so  guess that explains the color and the smell 😉 . Any-hoo the praise stops here. The consistency is really sticky and frankly annoying. It feels as sticky as a peel off mask and I was sure that it would peel off. I applied this for 20+ mins and it dried into a thin non-sticky film. But on washing it slightly gains back it stickiness and is like a glob on your face taking some time in washing off properly. Apart from seeing some reduction in the pore size I did not notice any other change on my skin (face it any pack on washing off does make your pores look smaller). Again I’m not ready to write this off as of now and will test it over a period of time before giving my final review of it. I will put in before-after pictures of mine for both the mentioned products.

     I have seen a lot of bloggers and vloggers receiving packages from the company to review their makeup line and a lot of them really rave about the products. I have not come across other people buying the skincare line and especially the products that I bought. Im sure some of the things that they offer are really good and will continue to experiment with the brand before making a final impression of it. This is a relatively new brand in the market and I guess does deserve some patience from our side. But having said that it is expensive and when there are so many other established brands that offer better and more well known products it is kinda doubtful for now if the Indian consumer would turn to this. But if your friend has purchased this product then take a sample and try and give it a shot. You never know it just might work for you. Until later my friends. Take care!!
