Shikha Says:

On my recent trip to Bangalore I was able to score some nice NYX products. I got them from the pharma chain known as Health and Glow. I spotted the brand in 2 of their branches – Garuda Mall and Brigade Road – and Im sure that the others would be carrying them as well. I think this chain of stores is present in other cities too so you guys can go and check it out.

Well there are 2 issues with it. First is the price, due to duties and taxes a product ends up costing so much more than what it is available for online. I mean a site like porkdaisy.com offers this brand and that too at a discount. So you can always groups some amount of products together and even with shipping I feel it will be a lot cheaper. The downside of ordering online though is you wont know how the product will look on your skin tone. I mean yes there are a lot of sites which are showing the swatches but still it differs when you try it on your skin. This is something I found especially in the case of lipsticks. I saw some swatches for the Diamond Sparkle range and when I compared them on my skin the result was quite different as in I didn’t like how it looked on my skin.

porkdaisy.com – Site for purchasing discounted NYX products

Ok coming to the second issue, NYX has launched a very limited range out here. So you will not be able to lay your hands on some of the the more talked about stuff online like their HD range, Eyebrow growth serum, etc. But all in all one can still get some hands on experience with the brand especially since now it is easily available in our own backyard.
I picked up an eyeshadow single in Golden Dune 106 (MRP Rs 550/-, porkdaisy.com – 3.98$, Rs 180/- approx).

Bought Dramatic Chromatic Eyeshadow Pigment called Lagoon CES33 (MRP Rs 475/-, nyxcosmetics.com – 6$, Rs 270/- approx)

And last but not the least a Diamond Sparkle lipstick in Sparkling Beige (MRP Rs 600/-, porkdaisy.com – 3.95$, Rs 178/- approx).

If I had picked up the single eyeshadow and lipstick from porkdaisy.com then the total that I would have paid including shipping would have been 11.29$ (Shipping charge – 4.15$) which comes upto Rs 508/- approx. I ended up paying Rs 1150/- for them 🙁

So what did you think of these products? Are you willing to give it a shot? Write your comments below. Until next time….Ciao!
