Captain America Inspired Eyemakeup – Hello Darlins. How many of you are Marvel fanatics? Excited about one of the highly anticipated releases this April? Sad to see the Avengers series come to an end but at least we will have our individual loved franchises moving forward. I cant wait to see what they have in store for the Dr. Strange and Black Panther story line. Which story line are you looking forward too? Well I was fooling around with a palette from NYX which I got as a gift from my friend Druna. And I came up with a look which gave me very Captain America vibes….I don’t know why but I was compelled to pair the steel blue with the red liner and mascara. And the end result screamed Captain America to me ๐ What do you think? Does it give you the same vibe? Do you think you would wear this combination? I didnt expect it to look so interesting but truth be told I dont know if I would wear it myself ๐ Just being 100 with you tho…still kinda looks kick-ass! Do let me know what you think about this Captain America Inspired Eyemakeup. I do have a mini tut for it which I will try to link below. Hoping to hear from you ๐
Products Used:
– Morphe Jacklyn Hill Palette
– Nyx Cosmetics Rocker Chic Palette
– The Face Shop Ironman Eyeliner
– The Face Shop Ironman Mascara
I combined the halo eyemakeup technique with the cut crease technique for this look. I would rate this as an Intermediate level as you need a steady hand to be able to draw the crease line. You can even try omitting that and have a lot simpler look in comparison. Depends on how comfortable you are with the techniques. Well I will see you guys around with more of these soon…take care!
Pink Halo Eyemakeup – Hello sweethearts! Back with another quick tutorial that I did for my insta account. I managed to get my hands on the Norvina palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills and it is beautiful. Not only are the colors gorgeous but their buttery smooth texture is something else. Plus some of the colors have this beautiful shimmer shift to them that is so striking. I used one such shade in the center of my lids for this look. I added some pearl bits that I bought from Born Pretty some time back to finish the look. Very feminine simple to recreate look which is great for any function or event. This was my first palette from the brand and so far Im quite liking it! Btw how many of you have your eye on the Nude palette from Huda Beauty? I really love how it is so unique from the usual palettes available in the market. I didnt plan on splurging so soon but I am highly tempted! Hopefully Nykaa will stock it soon coz I am not going to pick it up from the brand’s site since they use Fedex for shipping. Thanks to my past experiences with the company I literally run screaming in the other direction whenever I see any brand using their services…I would suggest that you do the same ๐ I ended up paying almost 10k for the Desert Dusk palette thanks to them! Any hoo going back to the look…

– Maybelline Lasting Drama Light eyeliner in Moonlight Purple

I really like the Halo makeup technique as it helps to create some stunning looks…you need to get that blend on point and once that is down to a pat it is actually quite quick and simple to do. I can see why Thomas Halbert was addicted to it for quite sometime ๐ So what do you think about the look? Were the pearls the perfect add on to the look or do you feel they were an overkill? Have you been lusting after this palette? Waiting to hear from you soon…astala vista!
Beginner eyemakeup look – Hello my loves! I have been doing some short and sweet eye makeup look tutorials on my alternative insta account which is solely for the makeup looks I create. You can check me out at sgmakeuplooks if you are interested in that particular content. I thought that I should post them on my blog and Youtube channel as well so here we are. Would love some feedback from your side as to how useful you find the tuts and what I could do to improve your viewing experience. I have always done looks/tuts that focus more on the technique aspect of it rather than just show you the same technique using 100 different colors combinations. It doesn’t work for me in the sense I would rather help explain the technique to you as detailed as I can so that you can create your own assorted looks as well as experiment with different ideas so that I can bring something creative to you as well hopefully while discovering a new way to do a look. I like a creative challenge rather than functioning like a “look” factory ๐ Hmm am I being shady? Who knows ๐ Well this is a simple glam look that you can do without much fuss. It is perfect for an event, function or even a dinner date. I think it is one of the most basic techniques when it comes to eyemakeup. I recently wore something similar to my cousin’s wedding. Kinda understated as well as eye catching at the same time.
Products Used:
– Dior Nude Glow eyeshadow palette
– Morphe Jaclyn Hill palette

– Revlon Ultimate All-in-one mascara
– Makeup Revolution Nude Gel eyeliner

Well what do you think? Hope you liked the look as well as the tutorial. I have a few more lined up which I will be sharing with you here soon. Oh also do you prefer only eyemakeup or would you prefer a full face to go with it? Or just see what lipstick I would pair with the eye look? Waiting to hear back from you soon. See you around…peace!
Hello loves! I cant believe we are at that time of the year so soon where the festive season is just around the corner. I love this time of the year as the very air feels charged somehow and you can feel the change in it. Durga Puja is just around the corner and city is literally buzzing in anticipation ๐ Well what better time to do a quick tutorial featuring a festive makeup look. I came up with this rust and gold makeup look which I paired with this gorgeous ruby red shade called Leo from Kylie Cosmetics. Not the best product but damn that shade is gorgeous! I skipped the part where I do my face in the vid, if you interested in how I do that then you can check out my previous vid aka Plum Makeup Tutorial. I have listed all the products used down below. I felt it to be kinda redundant to show you the entire thing especially since I used the same products for my face. Do let me know which format you prefer ie you like this short version featuring only the eyes or you want the whole shebang even if it is repetitive. I came up with 3 versions of the same look as I couldn’t decide which one to put out there. I love the first version coz the gold frames the eyes thus making the brown of it pop but if you prefer more of a smokey touch then you can opt for the 2nd version. Would love to hear which version was your favorite of the three…I’m thinking of kinda challenging myself to bring out the maximum looks I can out of one palette…often we hop from one palette to another thereby not using one to its fullest potential. I want to exhaust my thinking cap with one palette and am thinking of doing a 15 looks from one palette (totally just made that up) challenge. So as you might have guessed first up is the Beauty Killer palette from Jeffree Star. This would be the first look…only 14 more to go ๐ Hopefully I can wrangle out more than 15 from it but lets just keep it basic for now ๐
So which one is your favorite look of the three? Rather I should have asked you first if you liked it at all ๐ ๐ Would love to hear back from you guys…drop me a line with your thoughts! Btw this video is also available in Hindi now in case anyone you know would be comfortable with that version. You can find that video here. It might be kinda strange coz its my first attempt at it and I hope it catches on coz I had a ton of people requesting me for instructions in Hindi when I was doing my live tuts on Facebook. Would appreciate your feedback on how to improve the experience for the Hindi speaking audience ๐ Well I will be seeing you around…take care me amigos!
Hello lovelies! It has been eons since I have done a makeup tutorial for you and this particular look that I did part of my Inspiration Series was highly requested for by a lot people. I will be doing tutorials for the other looks in the series too (hopefully) that is if I can remember how I created them ๐ . Honestly I have the worse memory ever!!! Le Sigh! Any hoo…I used Huda Beauty Material Girl when I recreated this look in place of Kourt K from Kylie Cosmetics coz that thing just sucks so bad! Material girl is the perfect dupe for it and so much better like seriously it is way way better. This look is great for party/evening/prom wear with its touch of drama. I’m so in love with the BH Cosmetics Foil Eyes palette! Great pigmentation, easy to work with and they look gorgeous plus the icing on the cake being their affordable price! I used it for a couple of looks that I made for the Inspiration Series. Well I hope you like the look and the tutorial. Would appreciate your feedback on it especially since its the first time I tried my hand at the voice over format which somehow felt a lot easier to do as well as kinda daunting in certain sense all at the same time. So please do get back to me about it as I would love to hear from you. I have listed out all the products used down below. Well I see you guys around! Buh bye!

Hey! I’m doing a tutorial after ages and I must say I feel so out of touch. My new camera is putting me through the paces and kicking the sh*t out of me ๐ This was my 3rd attempt at recording this look. I know I still have a long way to go to make it just right so I would appreciate feedback and suggestions from you to improve your viewing experience. This is a look that I wore in my last vid ie Jewelry Haul from Aliexpress and I was at a loss of finding the right name for it. Well all thanks to Dolon this has an apt name now ๐ I made a talk through vid this time around just coz I wanted it to be easy for even beginners to follow and be able to replicate it. If you would like short tuts then do let me know that as well. Personally I don’t like the ones that zoom through the look in a couple of minutes coz they sometimes become hard to understand especially if you don’t have a technique down…
Eyes
– Coastal Scents Original 88 palette for the 2 shades
– Loreal Chrome Shine Sepia Sparkle
As always do let me know what you think of this look. If you like the stuff I make then please do subscribe to the channel to keep updated on my latest content. I will be shooting another vid soon and hopefully it all goes down in one try. Honestly sometimes I miss my old cam so so much ๐ I am thinking of using it for certain things till I gain mastery over the new beast aka my Nikon. I wish someone had warned me that it had such a huge learning curve and a$$ kicking especially when it comes to making vids ๐ Well enough of boo-hoo’s…see you chicas around…buh bye!
If you are a Youtube junkie then you must have come across multiple videos belonging to #fame channel. They have created a digital platform which helps people to showcase their talent! Now anyone can have their chance at the illusive fifteen seconds of fame. Their tagline is “If you’ve got it, we will help you flaunt it!” They have some of the funkiest vids covering beauty, fashion, latest trends, social issues and some hilarious satires. From celebrities, to chefs and even kids-next-door are a part of their entertainment bandwagon. Now taking it a notch further, they have tied up with Lakme to bring the Lakme School of Style. With none other than Karan Johar as the Editor in Chief making his web debut you can be sure that style will be delivered to you in spades! They will be giving you the dibs on the latest trends from around the world.
I saw a couple of vids from the channel and really liked the two I am mentioning here. One is a very easy to understand and replicate tutorial on contouring. Now we all have seen multiple vids and tuts on the subject and frankly the whole Kim K routine becomes too difficult to master without looking like a circus clown. Sahibba breaks it down into a simple routine where she covers the basics behind it and then goes on to demonstrate the technique for it. I really liked how she explains each step and also the do’s and dont’s for it so that even a novice can follow the concept. The end result is beautiful sculpted face without it looking OTT.
Another vid which really caught my attention was a master class by Miss Malini. She discusses some strategies to succeed in social media. Being one of the top bloggers in the country she has a lot of experience under her belt and is a treasure trove of information. Some of the tips she shared and points she put across are something completely new to me and things I have not heard before. Learning the in’s and out’s of blogging and social media I have gone through a lot of content over the years. I hope she does more of these! Again she keeps things simple so that anyone can understand and implement the tips she gives.
I really liked this concept of theirs…Lakme School of Style brings you the best of both worlds. On one hand you have industry experts bringing you their wealth of information in the form of the Master Class and on the other hand you have a team of bloggers who keep things simple and real for you. They cover a wide range of topics ie not only do you get the beauty, fashion and makeup tips but topics related to social issues and lifestyle are also covered by them. There is a blogger on board who has defeated cancer twice and now shares her stories and tips with you (how to tackle depression, face peer pressure, etc). I find their well rounded approach quite interesting and am hoping that I get to catch some great content in the future. So what do you guys think about it? Have you seen any of the vids yet? Do leave your thoughts in the comments below. I will catch you later ๐
