Whoa there has been a lot of over the top makeup experiments going on lately…my skin needs a break from all the creativity burst so that it can settle down. I opted to try out the LuxaDerme Bio Cellulose Anti Aging Mask as I can spot some fine lines and wrinkles that were not there a day before 🙁 Sigh! After the lovely results of the foot peeling mask I have high expectations from this. I have tried a bio cellulose mask earlier from a company called Jane Clare and absolutely loved the results of it. The problem with that was the ease of availability and the price point. LuxaDerme is an Indian company but the products are all made in Korea. If you have not used a bio cellulose mask earlier then the basic difference between it and the regular sheet masks is the material it is made of. Cellulose mask have a jelly like texture to them (usually made from coconut jelly) while sheet masks feels more paper/cloth like.

These masks adhere to the skin better hence delivering a more even distribution of the product on the skin.  Luxaderme Anti aging mask contains ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, Olive Oil, Ceramide 3, Peptides and Adenosine which help to improve the elasticity of the skin, make it firm, softens it and helps to repair damage. Well they are pretty tall claims for a mask to have. The brand recommends that you ideally use 2 of these a week for best results. One sheet costs around Rs. 600/-. Though I have seen the great result of the foot peeling mask and I approached this with optimism but I will not shy away from saying that at the same time reading all the claims made me tad skeptical at best. The mask was layered between 2 pieces of net and has a slight smell to it which I can best describe as tropical. I put the jelly mask on and used the remainder of the serum in the packet on my arms and feet.

I waited for about 30 mins and then took off the mask while patting the serum on my face in. My face felt hydrated and fresh. Well most masks make you feel great immediately after…but as I always say the acid test of one comes when you see the results the next day. Through the day my skin felt hydrated which was a plus for me. The next day my skin went back to feeling dry but I did feel that some of my lines were looking a lot less prominent. I thought I was probably imagining the result and wanted to check the pictures to make sure. And the result can be seen in the pictures too! My lines are looking less, my pores look a tad smaller and overall my skin looks fresh. For one sheet I quite like what I see and would definitely get more of these to evaluate it further. Well what do you think of the results? Would you like to try out this brand for yourself? I have a few more masks from them to try out and I will say that have made me happy with the results so far. Looking forward to the next one! Well I will see you around… Buh Bye!
