     Another easy and versatile sauce whose applications are only as limited as your imagination :p but yes most popularly known as a pasta sauce. I love this one more than the Arrabiata sauce.


  • 75 gms Basil leaves
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 Cup Pine nuts or Cashew nuts
  • 125 ml Olive oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • Pepper to taste
  • Cheese grated
  • Butter
1) Leaving the last two ingredients, put the remaining in a processor and make a thick paste.
2) Add in the butter and cheese.
3) When making pasta add some warm water to this sauce and mix in the boiled pasta.
