Sleek Makeup i-Divine Ultra Mattes V1 Brights Palette
Doesn’t it feel at times that time just flies by? I mean just now the year had started and already it is March…..Blink and its all gone *Sigh*…..Ok enough of melodrama…..lets get to it….Well before I actually reviewed this particular palette for you, my lovelies, I already showcased it. If you are an FB follower and have seen the recently added Makeup Looks album the looks in it have used colors from this palette.

I always end up buying shimmer/shiny shades coz those are the ones that appeal to me the most. Im naturally drawn to em. Even though I have Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette I still felt like I was lacking in the matte eyeshadows department miserably (go figure). So when I came across this gorgeous bright colored palette I……..(come on you know me enough by now)…….jumped right on it! 😛

What is there not to like about Sleek?!? Quality – check. Good Packaging – check. Pigmentation – check. Texture – check. Affordable – check. This is my 4th or 5th palette from this brand and I love em. This one is no different. Usually matte shades go on chalky but these are not like that. However the pigmentation varies for the shades. Some show up easily on the eyes while others require a proper base to work. For example – the yellow one showed up quite nicely in the swatch but not so much when I applied it on my eyes. But when I used it over Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Lime it just popped.

For newcomers let me break it down in some detail for you. The packaging is the signature black packing of all Sleek palettes and looks like the brand’s name. They come with a good quality mirror and sponge applicator which btw actually helps to pack on the shades to the lid quite well and their edges can be used to apply in the crease very precisely so don’t throw em away.
This palette contains 12 shades which is a standard for this company. And some of the names are so cute like I especially like Bamm! and Pow!….reminds me of that really old Batman and Robin TV show where they would show these words in a popup balloon format whenever there was a fight sequence :D. The other shades are – Chill, Pout, Sugarlite, Dragon Fly, Pucker, Cricket, Bolt, Strike, Floss ans Crete. The texture is really smooth and easy to work with.

Price is $9.99 (approx Rs. 550/-) which is very affordable. Im trying my hand with shading and using shimmer and matte shadows to create the effects so this palette will be featured a lot in some upcoming looks. A good piece to have if you are looking for this finish especially as it is so affordable and the very “unlike” matte texture. As I sign off I leave you with some of the looks I created with these shades. Catch you soon…Bye!

Would you purchase Sleek Makeup i-Divine Ultra Mattes V1 Brights Palette again? – Technically I wouldn’t as this would last me quite a bit. But yes I would if I want this texture and finish and I’m eyeing the other matte palette too.
