I was just sitting and staring at the screen wondering how to start this thing. Should I talk about the funky weather we are having or ask how you all are doing….Or like other times say how this was my first Zoya and where I got it from….ya da ya da….I realized that I have finally or rather apparently run out of words….curiosa and curiosa. Hmmm I guess it is your lucky day then coz that means I will jump right into an express review and not eat your head…..much 😉
Packing:
> Glass bottle about 2 inches tall.
> Shiny black plastic cap
> Standard polish brush/applicator
> Bottle has a different shape to it. Sort of like broad shoulders and a narrow waist 🙂
> Travel friendly due to size and glass looks durable
> Contains 15 ml of product
Texture/Pigmentation:
> Bright orange color with minute gold shimmer and a neon yellow sheen
> Formulation is quite opaque where 1 coat covers the nail properly but a 2nd one gives it a better finish
> Sort of disguises the ridges on my nail. Not completely
> Glides on effortlessly
> Even though it sets properly, it tends to get marks on it. I applied it 2-3 hours before going to bed. In the morning it has fine lines on it ie the impression of my hair.

Performance:
> Fraying of tips can be seen lightly by the 2nd day
> Noticeable fraying by the 5th day
> But the color loses it sheen and looks old by the 3rd – 4th day. Technically one would need to change it max by the 4th day.

This is a bright bold shade. The almost neon yellow sheen to it gives it an edge. But the color compliments the slight tan that I am having on my hands. Overall the performance and stuff was decent but I found its tendency to acquire marks on it a little weird. I used to see this when I used to wear Lakme paints awhile back and it has been sometime since I came across this thing. I was surprised to see such a thing happening in a Zoya paint. I have not had any prior experience with this brand but have heard a lot about it. Don’t know if this is the norm with it.

I got this one from Beautykafe for about Rs. 450/-. So what do you think about the color? For me it is a little bit much and not something I would have picked if I had seen it in the counter. Plus the marks it acquires makes it even more undesirable to me. I am tempted to pick other colors from the brand coz they are so so pretty. Hopefully they will turn out to be better than this one. With that I sign off this review. Back with more soon. Astala Vista Baby!
