Hello pretty people! Can you believe that the year is coming to an end?!? Diwali came and went…and now we shall settle into a nice cold spell (hopefully) while waiting for the new year to come in. This is my favorite time of the year where we are enjoying festivities one after the other. Unfortunately this time around I was out cold with a viral 🙁 Had the damnedest time trying to prep for the occasion while trying to not faint right out on my feet 😛 Well what is Diwali without some bling and Zotiqq came up with the perfect thing to cater to your bauble needs.

Started by Ritu of Indian Beauty Blog, Zotiqq offers some very trendy and interesting pieces of jewelry at affordable prices. I have been eyeing their pieces since sometime but when I heard the words “jewelry subscription box” I totally melted like butter. I don’t know what trigger happens in my head when I hear the words subscription and box put together in a sentence. My mind like shuts down completely and I turn into a drooling beast screaming “gimme! Me want now!!!” 😀 Lol and with that I end this post’s kooky section.

What I really like about their subbie idea is that they offer you 3 different types – Must-have’s box (3 pieces for Rs. 1000/-), Glam box (4 pieces for Rs. 1200/-) and Fashionista box (5 pieces for Rs. 1500/-). So given your budget and your preference you can choose the plan that suits you best. Each box contains pieces worth almost double of what you pay for it. And you can also choose to sub for a month, 3 months, 6 months or a year. Presently they are offering some discount on the sub box rates. I choose the must have’s box as I wanted to see the quality of the stuff on offer before committing for the long haul.

Right off the bat the packing of the thing captures you. I used to do chocolate making a point in time and know how much even the basic of packing can cost. To see them give such pretty boxes to their subbies really makes me happy and tip my hat off to them. Love the attention to detail. Each subby category get sent a different color of box in the same design. I got a lovely purple shade which is my personal favorite! There was a maroon net bag inside which contained the jewelry pieces (individually wrapped in bubble wrap). I got a necklace, a pair of earrings and a bracelet.

Given the theme of the box, they sent over a pair of very traditional earrings. This style has been inspired from what is known as the Deepika Padukone Ram-leela look and I believe are known as chandbalis. There is a small loop on top to which you can attach a chain and hook it into your hair to give additional support to it. Next in the box was a chunky bracelet with huge blue colored stones. I really like the uniquely shaped stones it has and the color of it makes it look striking. And the my favorite piece of them all is this beautiful necklace with deep green stones contrasted with black stones and diamante. I love how classy it looks!
