Hello me dearies! Back with an OOTD after a long time. I’m too lazy to deck up just to click a couple of pics for a post. Working from home has it disadvantages ๐Ÿ˜› I was actually out with my bua (Dad’s sis) for an excursion and usually when I come back home I’m beat and totally end up crashing! But lord knows what I was on that day ๐Ÿ˜‰ I was totally stoked on taking some pics and sharing it with you fine folks. Now when you see OOTD posts on other blogs you get to see outdoors and a lot of sun and greenery around, Taken from all sorts of interesting angles and what not. But the poor soul that I am don’t have the luxury of a friend zoned guy to take along with me to click these whimsical pictures ๐Ÿ˜€ I have to make do with my tripod in a corner of my home sorting through a hundred angles, weird faces and blurred images. I really need to find myself a photographer pronto!

Then even I can present an angelic picture of me draped somewhere so it looks like I fell out of the sky and landed like that…sigh! A girl can dream cant she…well for now you and me both have to make do with what I can manage. Awkward poses and weird expressions it is ๐Ÿ˜› Monochrome has been quite big this season with a lot of designers basing their entire collection on it. I got this lovely floral print one from Gia (Westside). This was featured in my Summer Clothes Haul vid. You may know by now that Gia is one of my favorite brands in clothes. They make some really interesting stuff catering to the plus size group. Love the soft material and fall of the top. Gives me an inkling of a shape while hiding my problem areas. I paired it with my favorite pair of jeans from Zara. They are super soft and are made of a stretch material.

I like to pair different accessories with this top given my mood. The versatility that the monochrome offers is endless and allows me to go as funky or as sedate as I want too. For an event recently I wore this with a pearl necklace and it helped me make the outfit glamorous so to speak. Since I was going to an exhibition during the afternoon I paired it with these chunky bangles I got on sale from Mango. Paired with a dainty pair of pearl studs from Accessorize I was good to go ๐Ÿ™‚

For my makeup I didn’t do much as it was bloody hot and humid out here. I put on some Vitamin E Cool BB Cream from The Body Shop, dabbed some MAC Concealer, a touch of Essence mascara and a swipe of Lincoln Rose from the Moist Mat range of L’Oreal. Fresh skin and a bright lippy was all that was needed. Well that was it for this look…I hope I was able to provide you with some pointers and ideas. Do let me know what you think about it. I will catch you soon…See ya!
