Shikha Says:
You know say what anyone may but for me these guys rock! Starting from September till present date they have maintained their quality and are always such a pleasure to open and explore. Yes there is always a mix of stuff which sometimes does and at other times does not appeal but still their collection is pretty neat. Here’s to hoping that they around for quite awhile and of course providing the thrill of anticipation. Cheers!

I know I’m a little late in posting this and mostly the suspense of this month has been revealed but like I said in the last post I want to take my time with writing these as I want to provide you all with detailed reviews instead of just a glimpse. So keeping that in mind lets take a look into the box. This time they sent over products from Dior, Lancome and Nyassa.

Dior Skin Nude Foundation in Light Beige 020:
This was a surprise  In the sense I didn’t expect them to send something from Dior. The color I got is an exact match for me. This product provides a light coverage but adds the look of evenness to the skin and gives it a healthy looking natural glow. It covered my pores to some extent. I really liked how it sat on my skin making me feel like I had nothing on. I even liked the way that it didn’t impart that made up look to skin.  Personally I felt that I could easily wear it in the day time something that I don’t usually do ie wear foundation on a day to day basis. For me they are usually reserved for an evening occasion. Price is Rs. 3015/- for 30 ml of product.
Lancome Galateis Doucer Gentle Softening Cleansing Fluid:
A creamy makeup remover from the house of Lancome. I really like the flower design and the pretty blue cap :). A white fluid with a soft floral smell this baby is a toughie. I had on some glitter liner, mascara and it took it all off in just a few strokes. No glitter anywhere. What I especially liked about it was that even though it is like a creamy thing and I used it on my eyes I didn’t get that weird feeling/film that you end up getting when you use such type of texture. It has happened with me with some other cleansers. I would get the feeling that something was in my eye. But this was not case with this product. It left my skin feeling fresh, smooth and clean. I will put this on my list to purchase when I get over with the one I’m using currently. Price is Rs. 2300/- for 200 ml of product.
Nyassa Belgian Chocolate Scrub:
This is a homemade products brand started by a woman entrepreneur  I met her once in an exhibition held in Kolkata a few years back. She had a wide range of soaps, lotions, room fresheners, etc. So good to see a young girl putting in so much effort and coming this far. Kudos!
Now on to the product. I’m gonna get a little iffy here. I was doing chocolate making professionally like 5 yrs back and to me this does not smell anything like Belgian chocolate. Smells like the local cooking chocolate brands that were available….Sorry but I’m very sensitive about the subject :p. It smells nice but not like Belgian chocolate. Ok moving on, There are 2 different textures present in it. One is the granulated sugar and the other feels like a powdery grainy thing almost like salt. When you touch it your finger will come away with a light coating of oil to it.

I felt that it had enough lubrication to be used on dry skin. I don’t know if that is recommended for it. But if you are have tough dry skin or peeling or something in those lines then you can use it without wetting your skin first. It maintains its grainy texture on wet skin and helps you to scrub your skin with a little amount of product unlike my Body Shop chocolate one which just melts and run all over me thereby making me reach again and again for it.

All things said this is a good scrub and since it is made from all natural ingredients more points to it. My skin felt smooth and it helped get rid of a dry patch that I was having. It leaves behind a floral smell on the skin which is actually quite nice. Price is Rs. 950/- for 200 gms of product. It costs more than my Body Shop one which is around Rs. 895/- for 220 gms of product.

And that warps up January’s box. It was a good box but honestly nothing in it was super exciting “Oh I wanna try it out right now” types for me. Still eagerly waiting for the next one. See ya all later! Bye!!
