Hello lovelies! Another day…another haul post! Technically I would have posted this one a couple of months back coz I shopped from a Sigma Beauty Sale last August but it took a really long time to reach me. No fault of the company but Kolkata customs was a mess and a half. First they were involved in a couple of sport matches and once that was done with we were bombarded with the holiday season here aka Durga Puja followed but Diwali and the likes. By the time it was all done the year was almost at an end…I think I got this sometime in December. I never have had to wait for a package this long! Rather I dont think I got my original package at all…the company was kind enough to send me a replacement when I hadn’t received my stuff even after 2.5 months. So if you are reading this sitting in Kolkata and stressing about your missing package then this is why it hasn’t reached you yet. So just wait it out or ask for a refund. If the company does not respond then raise a token at Paypal (provided you used that – well now you know better). Anyways now that the boo-hoo is done with 😛 lets get on with the haul!
Sigma Brush Care System
This kit was available during the time I made my purchase. It includes the Dry’n Shape Tower ($29.00) and the brush shampoo ($15.00) which totals to $44 but it was marked at $ 35.00 (approx Rs. 2236/-). I did get a discount but I will cover that at the end of the post. I have a mini cleansing mat from the brand and it makes the cleansing process so much easier. But the part where one has to store the freshly washed brushes while ensuring that they stay in shape is a pain. Not to mention the extra precaution I need to take to ensure that they are dog hair free in the process. I picked the tower so that I had the perfect place to keep my freshly washed brushes. The body of it contains an attached mat so it gives one dual benefit. With the shampoo thrown into the mix I was totally sold into this!
B12 Bent Liner Brush
I always wanted to try a bent eyeliner brush! I would wonder if it makes the process easier somehow. Does it give more precision? Does it give more control over the line being drawn? Does it help one to get closer to the lash line? Well I still need to try this out and I will let you know how that goes. Priced at $15 (approx Rs. 958/-).
Individual Eye Shadow
I really wanted to try some makeup from the brand since forever! They were earlier priced at $11 for a single shadow but now have been marked down to $7.70 (approx Rs.492/-). I picked 2 shades and got the 3rd one for free due to some offer they were having. I got the shades Control (black), Ginger Pumpkin (soft orange/pumpkin) and Chase (pale pink).
The total amount of my order was $65.40 (approx Rs. 4178/-) but since I got a small discount I paid $52.32 (approx Rs. 3342/-) which included shipping (I think). I was quite stoked with what I picked as I finally lay my hands on what was on my wish list from the brand since awhile. You might think that overall I had a bad experience but apart from the stress of not getting my package things were very smooth. Let me explain…when I got in touch with them regarding the missing package they were quick to reply. Their rep was really nice and offered me a replacement package which she in turn processed super fast. One of the eyeshadows I picked was showing out of stock in the system but I requested that if one was available by the time the package got shipped then to kindly include it in. She located a piece in one of their warehouses and completed my order. Wasn’t that really nice of her? Well that wraps up this mini haul from Sigma Beauty sale. Do let me know what you think of it. What is it that caught your eye and went into your wish list. I will see you soon. See ya!
