Shikha’s Opinion:
This is the 1st book that I have read from this author so I don’t know much about her personal style. I feel that sometimes you need to read a second book from the same person to see if it suits your flavor. Such was the case for me with this book. Overall it was a nice book. I like my romance to move me in some manner and honestly this really didn’t do it for me. I like my hero’s to kinda stand out but Kyle is sweet in a friend-ish kinda way. The heroine is beautiful and sometimes brave 😐 . The intimate scenes were kinda more explicit than any other author that I have read so far but not garish in any manner.
An ideal romance novel for me personally is one which can make you cry, bring a smile on your face or make you wish that you had whatever that was being written in some shape, manner or form. But I can’t honestly recall any such moment for me in this book. Overall an ok read.
