Hello my chicas! I reviewed the Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Repair Rescue Reversilane Range shampoo and conditioner sometime back for you and did mention that I had the hair masque from that range too. A quick recap about what this product range is about – Reversilane range promises to repair damaged hair while adding strength and elasticity to it and bringing back natural hair movement. It did deliver as promised on this part but for my hair type the conditioner did not give me the amount of softness that I like. I was looking forward to see if the Schwarzkopf BC Bonacure Repair Rescue Reversilane Range Treatment Masque will make up for that lack and that would have made this the ideal product range for me! Usually hair masques need to be kept in for a longer duration just so that they can work their magic…it takes anywhere from 15-20 minutes for this to happen and I will be honest with you I don’t have that kind of time when I’m in the shower. I prefer conditioners where I can be done with the process in 5 minutes or so. But anyways I was willing to try this out especially since I liked the “life” that my hair had. So did it work its magic on me? Let’s find out…

The product comes in the standard tub format that most hair masques come in. It is thicker in texture than the conditioner and all products from the range share the same fragrance which is on the stronger side but something that I love. I tried out the mask for quite a while using it 2-3 times a week ie whenever I washed my hair. How did I manage to do that when I just cribbed about the time taken for a hair masque to work you may ask…the thing is that I tried it for different time duration ie the time period for which I kept the product in my hair varied. It does work the best when it is left in for 15 mins or so but I found that it still delivered even when I kept it in for 5 mins. Though there was a slight difference in the softness I got in my hair when the time duration varied but for me in the trade off between the softness and time the latter won by quite a margin. I will say however that it still lacked in giving me the amount of softness that I was looking for in the end. But the combination of the shampoo with the masque would be my choice from the range…

If you have oily to normal hair then opt for the shampoo+conditioner combo and if you have normal to slightly dry hair then opt for the shampoo+masque combo. It does make my hair look fuller and gives it that life and movement that I look for. Makes life a whole lot easier getting something like this without having to pile on layers of product or spend countless hours on the salon chair 😀 The hair masque is priced at Rs. 900/- for 200 ml of product and I have barely managed to make a dent on it even after using it for over 3 months. Well I did end up getting my hair cut short so this will last me for quite a bit more time given my state 😛 Do let me know if you found this review useful. Have you tried out anything from this range? What are your thoughts on it? Hoping to hear back from you…in the mean time be safe! Take care!

  • If it makes hair look fuller I’d love to give it a try.

Yes the combination does give the illusion of fullness. I found that my strands of hair were looking more defined
