The Luxe Cafe

I remember the time when MAC had just entered Kolkata and set up its 1st store here. The entire concept of the brand and combined with the appeal of its store used to draw me like a kid looking at a shiny new toy. But somehow my mind had this perception that the brand was too expensive and only celebs would be able to afford the stuff. I didn’t have it in me to even venture inside and look around. Since I couldn’t afford it the exercise seemed pointless. But one day I decided enough was enough and I would just go in and buy what I liked, to heck with the price! And to my utter surprise once I walked in it was a whole different atmosphere. Not only were the products somethings I could afford but the entire way the staff treated me was a joy and a half. And we all know, that I haven’t looked back since 😀

That’s just the thing isn’t it? We make such a hue and cry over somethings in our head that we never try to venture outside our box of preconceived notions and actually find out the reality. On the flip side, in the quest to gain that coveted item we end up making poor choices while buying and end up with an expensive and worthless item which does not meet our expectations thus walking away disappointed from the whole brand experience. So what is the solution to it? How can one make informed choices when it comes to luxury goods/services so as to get that bang for our buck? Enter Luxe cafe! A B2C (business to consumer) platform where the industry insiders come and share their knowledge and tips so that you can derive the ultimate luxury experience!

India has steadily grown over the years where it is not just the metro cities that are considered the target market for luxury goods but surprisingly cities which are marked as Tier 2 & 3 have emerged as big spenders. Places like Udaipur, Vizag and Nashik are emerging as consumer markets for the big brands. Luxe cafe is an online luxury magazine providing a wide range of articles concerning fashion & decor, travel & leisure, motoring & gadgets, personas & ideas for connoisseurs of fine living ie in short they have something for everyone.
