I must confess that I’m an online shopping junkie. I love to search for great deals especially for makeup. I have bought stuff ranging from cosmetics to perfumes, clothes, jewellery, colored contact lens and a whole bunch more…..Well today I’m gonna tell you about my purchase from Strawberrynet.com and why am I super excited about it!
Well we all remember the Peacocky collection launched by MAC a short while back right. I was obsessing about the collection and was just waiting for it to launch. 1 item that I had my eye on especially was the Odalisque eyeshadow. I saw like a gazillion reviews online and how it is a must have shade. I was sold!! But when the collection finally made its way to Kolkata…..Guess what? Go on guess. The shade never made it to the city 😡 (Argh)!
I hunted every where for it and I mean everywhere but just didn’t find it anywhere. No correction. I found it on ebay but it was for Rs. 2500/- over there not including shipping. In stores it was being sold for Rs. 1200/-. I wanted it badly but not that badly :p. Well coming to the point I was searching Strawberry for a Clinique lipstick and happened to browse through the MAC collection as well (cant resist man). Lo and behold, they had Odalisque sitting there pretty as you please! For Rs. 1090/- AND FREE SHIPPING!! (dhin chak – dhin chak – dhin chak)…….Oops! Sorry I digress.
So I whipped out my card and bought it on the spot (duh). I placed my order on the 27th of Sept and I received my package by regular post on the 4th of Oct (not bad right). The packed it really well as you will see in the following pics. Their service was prompt and I had no issues with the condition the product. It was packed tight in some bubble wrap and set in a bed of thermocol shaped like 3’s :).
So diva’s if you are not apprehensive about shopping online then do make it a point to check out the site. It carries a huge collection but do keep an eye on the price coz everything is not cheaper in comparison to what you get out here. Plus they will show you the price in INR too making the process easier. And not to forget – Free Shipping! Happy Shopping!
