Hey there my divas! Today I’m back with another lippy from the house of Makeup Geek. I have reviewed some of their products before and I must say they are quite impressive. This was part of my haul from them and unfortunately it was broken from inside ie the lippy was separate from its base. But no matter I’m not iffy about it as the product is still usable.

     The lippy comes in a matte black case with a graphic design printed on it. The top of the case is transparent so that you can see the color of the product. The whole thing stands around 2-2.5 inches. The product has this distinct smell to it that reminds me of old time lippies. Price is $7.99 (approx Rs. 440/-) for 4 gms of product.

It looks very red in the hand swatch but on the lips it is a pink-red shade.

     The color is a beautiful pink-red color. The pigmentation is intense and quite opaque so you don’t have to worry about pigmentation of your lips. The texture is creamy and slightly moisturizing. If you are having dry lips then this provides very little comfort on but it does not highlight your issue.  I did the “smooch test” with it where in I placed kisses on a napkin and after 10 kisses it does not go away completely but rather coats your lips in a dark pink tone. It does have tendency to sit in your lines then but a little rub would take care of it. A beautiful intense shade perfect for the hot date 🙂
