This a soft brown color with gold specks/duct in it. It is in Velvet finish. It is a very pretty looking color but does not have a lot of color payoff. It swatches differently on the eye than on the back of your hand. I feel that you need to put on a sticky base before you try this on or maybe a really good primer like Urban Decay or Too Faced. I tried it on my Inglot Eye makeup base and it sucks. I had to pack on heaps on my eye just to get a mild wash of color :p. 

I have put a lot of Texture all over the lid with some brown shadow in the crease

Used very little Vaseline as the sticky base to put my eyeshadow over to get this amount of color

Would you buy it again? – No.

Would you recommend it to your friend? – For an Indian skin tone, I would not recommend it as MAC has a  whole lot of browns/neutrals available which will look better. If you have a light skin tone then yes this is a very pretty color to have.
