The much awaited MAC Temperature Rising collection is finally here! And what was the most surprising part was that save for one or two products the rest all found their way to Kolkata. Imagine that….but like all times very few pieces of each have made it here so if you have a list of stuff you wanted to get I would suggest that you make a trip to the store asap before it all gets sold out. 

     If you have seen the promo pics, this collection since the beginning has had a sensual air to it. Bold tones and shimmers meant to attract and seduce play prominent roles in it. If you are glitter/shimmer averse this is not meant for you. But if you are a diva inside not afraid to get your shine on then this has your name written all over it. The packing is just so beautiful and eye catching – the rich metallic tones, almost like copper, and the soft matte touch. I love this matte texture and you will find it in some of the permanent line products as well like their mascara tubes. 

     The blush is a soft coral shade with minute gold shimmer to it and is a satin finish. The color has a good pigmentation and just one swipe of it on the back of my hand gives good color payoff. You can easily build the intensity if required but it really wont be necessary. I rubbed my brush in it once and got a lot of color on my cheek so much so that I had to rub it a little with a tissue to tone it down. The shimmer is not visible per say but rather adds to the dimension of the color.

     I think this shade will suit most of the Indian skin tones. Plus if you have tanned skin this actually compliments it and looks so gorgeous. This is definitely a piece you should check out from this collection even if nothing else holds your fancy from it. Im not much of a blush person and have very few in my collection but in recent times I was completely hooked to the Ripe Peace one from MAC. I was wondering what would be able to replace that beautiful shade once I ran out of it. Looks like I have found something 🙂
