Hello my loves! It has been quite a long time since I indulged in a collection from MAC cosmetics. I was waiting for the Patrick Starrr collection to drop here but unfortunately it didn’t 🙁 Hopefully his second collection makes it to our shores…fingers crossed! I had heard about the MAC X Padma Lakshmi collection launching but had no plans on picking anything. But once I saw the packing….man I was screwed! I had to get my hands on one of the palettes and I ended up with the 70’s Sunset one. I loved the purple and green shades in the palette. I wanted to pick up a lipstick called Mittai Pink as well but unfortunately it was sold out. The palette is undoubtedly gorgeous but truth be told I was a little disappointed with the pigmentation especially the purple shade. I had to use it with a wet brush to get what you see on my lids. The other shades are decent in comparison. I paired it with lipsticks from Jeffree Star. I applied Scorpio on my lips, topped it with Watermelon Soda, then went back in and applied Scorpio in the center part for an ombre look. The Too Cool For School highlight gloss is the bomb dot com! I need to create a futuristic look just to do it some justice. But for now I ended up with this fresh glowy look which is perfect for an Indian function/event. Also I used the Fenty foundation for the first time and it surprised me quite a bit. Need to use it a few more times before I let you know my thoughts on it.
