Shikha Says:

I picked out some products from Inglot that were a part of my wish list for sometime . I really like this brand and the pigmentation of its shadows and pigments is super awesome :D. It is a high end brand but it costs slightly lesser than MAC. Their range of colors is staggering to say the least.

I bought the Duraline (MRP Rs 490, On Sale – Rs 432) which is like a really hyped product. If you have not heard about it then let me make you a little wiser 😉 It is a medium which can be used to turn any powder to a gel/liquid like consistency and be used especially like a eyeliner for one. It can even be used with your gel liner if you are feeling that your liner has become dry. Wet your liner brush with this and then pick up/mix in the gel liner and apply. It has this cool dropper dispenser system which reduces product wastage!

I bought an AMC Pure Eye Shadow pigment in no. 61 (MRP Rs 700/-, On Sale – Rs 617). I would describe this as a pink shimmer. It is a beautiful color. Personally I feel that it is best to use pigments wet as the color payoff is much better plus the fall out is much less. Just dampen your brush with water or MAC Fix+ if you have any.

I saw this awesome video on youtube by a guy called Dustin Hunter (dustyohunter) who did a series of vids on how to use pigments. He used pigments for face, lips, hair and nails!! Can you imagine? The versatility of the product just sky rockets. Do make it a point to check him out. He has posted some really informative vids.

Dual Fiber – 27TG

Angled Eye Liner – 30T

I even picked up 2 brushes since there was a sale on – the dual fiber brush 27TG (MRP Rs 2050/-, On Sale – Rs  1445/-) and an angled eye liner brush 30T (MRP Rs , On Sale – Rs 634/-). I have seen a lot of places where they have used the dual fiber for foundation application and have seen makeup books where it is referred to as a ‘Stippling’ brush. Honestly I have not used this till date so will be putting up an update for it when I get around figuring how it works best for me. Bought the angled eye brush for Dimps so will be reviewing that later as well.
