Presenting the October Glamabox! These people just catch me off guard each time. I mean the sheer amount of samples in the box is such a joy to encounter. There was a slight glitch in communication with respect to the packing and postage of the thing but in the end I was very happy with the care that they took in wrapping it up this time and I finally got this beautiful box blemish free 🙂 Definitely a collectors item! I got mostly skin care in my box this time around. A little mix would have been nice. But hey what the heck, there are just so many things to like about it….

The History of Whoo In Yang Balancer, In Yang Lotion & In Yang Sleeping Repair

     They sent a pretty gold pouch with these 3 pieces in it. I read up on the company to know more about it and turns out that it is a Korean brand. Their philosophy is that their products are designed for an Empress. They bring to the consumer the secrets of the royal court and the rich ingredients that were used. The In Yang products sent over are mainly to bring softness to the skin while maintaining its clarity. I will talk about the individual products in greater detail when I review them. The bottles are 5.5 ml and the sachet is 1 ml. I’m not mentioning the price coz I think there is some confusion in the intro letter and they have mentioned some other product in it.  

Annie’s Way Arbutin + Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Jelly Mask

     This is a clear jelly mask packed in an transparent sachet and the best thing is that they have provided a zip lock seal on it. There is 25 ml in the bag which looks quite generous. Annie’s Way is a Thai based company and their main product line is masks covering each and every concern and for each and every part of the body 😀 Wow! these people take it seriously…..Well since they are “mask experts” I’m having high hopes from this one. Hope it delivers. Btw it is supposed to whiten, moisturize, reduces fine lines and brighten the skin. It comes in a box of six such sachets of 25 ml each and is priced at HK$ 120.

Morii Platinum Essence Facial Mask & Lifting Crystal Eye Patches

     There was one of each included. Ok I’m a little put off by it as there are hardly any words of English on the whole thing. They should show some consideration for their buyers and mention at least some basics like say the company name or the directions to use it. Got the name from the Glamabox intro letter and when I tried searching for the company I came up with nada. There is a website mentioned in the back but it is not connected to this brand in any manner. Or atleast I could not locate it on the site. Sigh….Both are essentially meant for brightening. Platinum mask retails for HK$ 55 for 10pcs and the Eye patch for HK$ 44 for 8 pairs.

Ego SunSense Ultra SPF50 & QV Face Gentle Cleanser

     Both these products are from the same company ie Ego Pharmaceuticals which is based in Australia. The cleanser is meant for dry/sensitive skin and is odorless. There is 15 gm of product provided and you can buy the full sized 250 ml one for HK$ 112. The sunscreen comes in this nice tube with the twist off seal. There is 10 ml in the tube and you can buy the full sized 125 ml for HK$ 133.5. 

Infusens Absolute Moisturizing Concentrate

     This came in a plastic vial containing 4 ml of the product. The packing reminded me of the medicines that you get in those glass vials to fill into injections. Again I was not able to find a site for this. It is written made in France but I’m not sure if it is a French company. I came across a name – Philip Wain and I think they are basically spa service providers that stock products from different brands. It is not clear if this is their in-house brand or something separate. You can pick a set of 10 such vials for HK$ 1280.

Mioggi White Genion Total Radiance Serum & White Genion Cell Nutrient Enhancer & Magic Advanced Definite Renewal Overnight Program & Hex Perfector Illuminating Magic BB Cream & Hex Magic Foremilk Cleansing Powder

     Phew! That is a lot of stuff. They sent over a goody bag of stuff from this Korean brand. The big tubes are 8 ml each, small one is 3 ml, 2 sachets of the cleansing powder 1 gm each and 1 gm sachet of the BB cream. MIOGGI means “beauty of the skin” symbolizing the glow of the skin. Hopefully they will deliver on it. It would have been nice if they would have included 2 sachets for the BB cream in place of the cleansing powder coz at times it is tough to judge a BB with just one use. So lets see how it goes…

     They have given 4 vouchers for spa treatments but I cant make out the details of the offer. Just that each is about HK$ 388 in value. It would have been great to try them out 🙂 And that concludes the unboxing of the October Glamabox. Quite a collection of stuff don’t you think? So loving their contents and presentation and my November box is on its way too….should be getting it soon!
