I don’t know why but I usually don’t look at Faces products. Something just stops me from even looking at them. Cant explain why. So when I passed a Faces store in Infinity Mall, Malad I just kept on walking. But this time around something stopped me and made me go in to at least take a look-see and spot anything that I could not find in the Kolkata branch of it. Now in comparison this outlet is much bigger than the one I saw back home and in all honestly that can best be described as a mini kiosk. 

     Well I was pleasantly surprised at the huge collection but nothing in the makeup appealed to me. I moved on to the skin and body care section and found a whole bunch of stuff that I had not seen before and didn’t know that Faces stocked all that. Now let me clarify that this range is not manufactured by Faces but is rather imported and marketed by them. The real manufacturers are a company called Upper Canada Soap. 

     I found a lot of interesting stuff that I picked up and will be reviewing subsequently. But this one has to be the most interesting of the lot as for me it is something that I have not heard of before – a “Dry Oil”. There are 2 colored liquids in the bottle which you need to shake and then with the spritzer spray it lightly over desired area. One spray can cover quite a bit of an area and gets easily absorbed into your skin. I used this in Mumbai weather after taking my bath and even in that weather it didn’t leave me feeling oily or make my skin oily after awhile. My skin was left feeling smooth and soft the entire day. The texture does feel slightly oily when you first spray it on but since it gets absorbed you can just feel a smoothness later on. 

     I really like the fresh watermelon scent of this one. I bought the Passion fruit one for my friend which is purple in color and she loved hers too. The bottle is a sturdy plastic one and did not spill for me while travelling. You cant control the amount of product that you dispense but a whole lot does not come out at once. Once sprayed you need to spread it out fast as it starts getting absorbed into the skin quickly….so the faster you are able to spread it out the more the area you can cover with it.  Waiting to see how this fares in drier times. 

     You can see the amount that I have used up….took me around 15 days of regular use to get here. I think this bottle can last for a little over 2 months when used regularly. It cost me Rs. 699/- for 300 ml of product. I feel that the price is decent especially since I quite like the stuff. Oh did I mention that it is Mineral oil, Paraben and SLS free?? So good news all around 🙂

     That wraps up this review.
