Beauty Formulas Relaxing & Healing Foot Mask
Whaz up chicas! Ok so from today onward I’m starting a new section on the blog – The Mask Informer. I had to make a separate section for it courtesy all the beauty boxes I have been getting! I have a Sample Corner in which I would cover these but somehow it didn’t seem to be a good fit to me anymore. Sometimes these sheets are sold individually so it didn’t seem fair to categorize them as samples. Well each mask type will be treated individually and by that I mean the review and ranking system will be specific to it and not a generic one. The tub packing ones will get a product scorecard in the end while the sheet masks will have the thumbs rating as you had seen in the sample corner. With that out of the way lets get on with the review…
I picked the Beauty Formulas Relaxing & Healing Foot Mask from New U. Being a lazy bum, I’m not very diligent about pampering each and every part of my body. The little I do gets focused on my hair or face and the rest are left to their own devices 😀 I try to squeeze in the occasional mani pedi but they don’t happen as often as I would like. My feet are dry perpetually 🙁 Needless to say I had high hopes when I came across this pack. Now whether it did anything at all remained to be seen. I liked the fact that they had included a sock like cover which contained the product. A mask sheet for the feet 😀
It had a mild apple smell to it. After you wash your feet you slip on the socks for 20-30 mins and then once you take the sock off rub the extra serum on your feet. No need to wash them. My feet were left feeling really soft and well moisturized. The dryness that I was having at the heels was gone and it felt like I had gotten a really good pedicure done. They even had a freakin glow! Dont that beat it all! And for me the effect lasted for around 2-3 days which I really liked. All in all I was quite with them – the ease of use, the end result…they gave me more than I hoped for honestly. And like always these are meant for one time use only. Some might say that they are a little steep at Rs. 175/- a pop but considering that a good pedi can cost almost 10 times as much these are a pretty good bet.
They have a hand pack too in similar lines and I’m game to try those out next. Beauty Formulas is a UK based brand which has a huge range of masks/packs for you to try out. Well that wraps up this short review. Do let me know what you think of the product and if you want to try it out for yourself. If you have already then what has been your experience with it? I will be buying more of these…And with that I sign off! Until next time – byeee!
