This is probably one of the best time of the year for a beauty addict…correction…it IS the best time of the year. Most holiday collections or new launches are simply breath taking plus the special offers and stocking stuffer deals available is enough to cause an addict to salivate and their wallets to go up in smoke. But my absolute favorite has to be the Beauty Advent Calendars! There are all kinds of advent calendars available ranging from gourmet chocolates to lifestyle and, what we are about to get into, beauty.

There are a lot of different types available and by that I mean there are ones featuring products from a single brand or those from sites/shops that sell multiple brands aka a multi brand box. Usually these have travel sized products but some even give full size products…kinda rare from what I understand. The price range is huge staring from double digit dollars/pounds and going to triple digits. I kinda like the multi brand box idea a tad more especially since it would give one so much variety. Single brand boxes are interesting too especially when it comes to certain luxe and well known brands like Charlotte Tilbury or Laura Mercier where you can try out a couple of the well known products before deciding to invest in the full size one. So the choice one has is actually mind boggling but I am listing the ones that I liked the most as well as point out the ones that I would like to get my hands on…like now!

I have been meaning to buy something from this brand for quite some time. I will admit that the price acts a deterrent for me and there have been numerous times when I have added a few items in a cart just to exit out when I felt extremely guilty looking at the total 😛 But in comes the perfect solution though again at quite a high price tag of 150 pounds/GBP (approx Rs. 12,644/-)…damn! On the bright side one does get a chance to try out some of the really well known products from the brand like the Magic Cream or even Goddess Skin Clay Mask (both are minis aka travel size). There are a total of 12 “windows” in this pack which means there are 12 products in total, roughly which cost you about 1000 bucks each. Apart from the two products mentioned earlier you can also get:-

This is the most expensive Beauty Advent Calendar 2016 in my list but quite a luxurious treat! I really like how there is artwork behind every closed window and it adds this splash of color to the entire thing when each window is opened.

If you love glitter or are for looking for the perfect holiday themed products then this might be the one for you! 

Like I mentioned the Tanya Burr Beauty Advent Calendar 2016 is my absolute favorite from the list and something I want to get my hands on asap! For a more indulgent buy I would opt for the Charlotte Tilbury one. Well actually since it is my lust list I ideally want to lay my hands on all of them but if I had to choose where my money goes then those two will be my top picks from the list. These calendars are such an amazing idea and I hope some of the brands that are present here like Body Shop, Clarins, Kiehls, etc decide to bring their’s out here too next year. It is kinda sad that they have launched them abroad but dont bring them out here 🙁 Hopefully we might get one from someone soon! These calendars sell out super fast and are immensely popular…we can all see why. Well I hoped you liked my list! Which one was your favorite from it?
